The Covered
Porches -- wrap around the cabin
providing spectacular presence with Skaneateles Lake.
You can become mesmerized as you rock to the rhythm and beauty of Skaneateles. Skaneateles sunsets are fabulous.
Outdoor Dining
-- table for six where friends and family can enjoy each other, and their dinner
with the tranquility of Skaneateles. We have an old
fashioned park-style barbeque grill and we provide the charcoal, lighter fluid
and matches. You provide the steaks and the friends.

Sun
Deck
-- this wonderful lounging deck runs the
entire length of the cabin overlooking the lake. The sun is filtered thru
the trees and you usually get a gentle lake breeze. Provided are spa quality chase lounges,
porch swing and hammocks. If you're the type who loves to lounge
and relax then we had you in mind.

"Hammocking"
-- one of our guests said that their favorite part of Paul's Cabin was "hammocking".
We agreed that "hammocking" is probably not an official word. Yet, if Nathaniel Webster
would have experienced this hammock ..... it would have made his dictionary.
This double-wide hammock is great for snuggling away from the crowd, in the
quiet trees.

the
Boardwalk -- I told our builder
that if "by the grace of God I am alive when I'm 90, I still want to
walk down to the lake". Mike built a brilliant boardwalk that
runs the entire span of our 200 feet of lakefront. Because of the
boardwalk, the lakeside is safe for the kids and easy on the
grandparents.....considering the cabin is built into the side of a mountain
forest. (picture taken before rails were installed)

Campfire
Pit -- our "zero
clearance" fire pit was designed after those Oceanside swimming pools that look
like they're connected with the horizon. Enjoy your fire with an
unobstructed view of the lake and trees. The water is so clear, you can
literally watch the fish swim by. (first picture taken before wall was
capped and Adirondack chairs added)

Lake Front
-- 200 feet of very private lakefront is just steps away. Just walk down
the stairs for great swimming in one of the
world's cleanest lakes. Skaneateles is a spring-fed lake with a limestone
floor -- no mud! Our large deck (16ft by 32 feet) is a permanent. solid structure
decked with Trex....plenty of seating area.
Click the link above to watch a fun video piece of a walk from the cabin, exploring the lake. This isn't a virtual tour of the cabin, just a little bit of sights and sounds. If you're not artistic, don't veer off here.
Boating and
Fishing -- Skaneateles is a large
recreational lake (15 miles by 1 mile) with sail and power boats of all sizes.
Pull up your boat and anchor by our docks (mooring provided). Daily and weekly boat rentals are available as well as fishing charters for lake
trolling and the pursuit of some of the largest lake trout in the U.S.

Curt's Pontoon -- the best rate for a
pontoon rental on the lake is from Curt -- he is the property manager for Paul's
Cabin. Curt has a special program for our guests.
Contact Curt at Skaneateles
Suites for more info on this exclusive offer.

Hiking
-- an understatement. Explore for miles along rustic roads, meandering
around creeks, forests and hillsides. Get a true great north feeling. (See
nature)
